10 years after the death of the great Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, the world has seen his latest novel, See You in August.
Small in volume (only 122 pages), the book tells the story of a woman named Ana Magdalena Bach, whose seemingly perfect life every August undergoes a mysterious transformation.
Although Marquez himself requested that the manuscript be destroyed, his sons decided to publish the novel. They considered that this work, even if not polished to the end, is of value to fans of the writer’s work.
“See you in August” is already called a literary event of the year.
