Corrections Policy

The NewsRoomIn editorial team is committed to correcting any errors made swiftly, transparently, and in full. Upon discovering a factual or spelling error, or an inaccuracy in attribution or sourcing, we immediately make corrections and notify our readers.

Procedure for Making Corrections

  • Substantive corrections: If an error distorts the factual understanding of a piece, we immediately correct the article text and append a note with the date and an explanation of what exactly was changed.
  • Clarifications: If wording proved ambiguous or incomplete but did not contain a factual error, we supplement the text with an explanatory note.
  • Copyediting fixes: Minor typos and grammatical errors that do not affect the meaning of what is written are corrected directly in the text without a special notice.
  • Retractions: If after a piece is published it becomes clear that it contains fundamental errors or lacks an evidentiary basis, we retract the publication, accompanying it with an editorial note explaining the reasons for this decision.

How to Report an Error

We encourage readers to notify the editorial desk of any inaccuracies they notice:

  • Email: info@newsroomin.eu
  • Subject line: Correction Request: [Article Title or URL]
  • Response time: Our duty editor reviews justified correction requests as quickly as possible, typically within one business day.
